Xiumin is
finally getting some solo time hahahahhahahahahhahahahaha
yyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssssss. In what is another intercompany
collaboration, Xiumin from SM was featured in Jimin’s solo track “Call you Bae”.
The song is about taking the next step into a relationship. The song is super
cute and with Xiumin singing the chorus it gets mildly addictive. Jimin’s
singing is pleasant to listen to as well and the cute sounds she makes in the
song add fun and rhythm to the track. I feel Xiumin’s voice is a pitch higher
then Jimin (If that is even possible, but it is, at least I feel that way.)
I mainly
watched the music video because of the all natural looking guys in the background
I felt more relatable to them than I did to the couple
and the song. The music video plays with ease as it shifts from room to room. It
just shows snippets of scenes that are strung together, with each scene emphasizing what the singers are singing. Overall, it was a good attempt, But I
do not find the song that catchy.
