And that was how I was all day listening to HEY-YO-GEE-GEE!

Girls' Generation did this cray cray thing with their fifth album. dividing it into two as a promotional tool thereby doubling their demand and their views and profit. Well it is not fun if you think it like that but hey you sure got the attention you wanted!
The first part of 'Lion Heart' album came out with along with Five songs namely, ‘Lion Heart’, ‘Party’, ‘Fire Alarm’, ‘Green Light’, ‘Paradise’ and ‘Bump it’. With a music video for 'Lion Heart'

In the second day, Girls Generation brought out the remaining songs from their album namely, ‘You think’, ‘Talk Talk’, ‘Show Girls’, ‘One Afternoon’ and ‘Sign’, with the much anticipated music video for ‘You think.

If you thought Partey was addicted wait till you see what else Gee Gee gonna throw at yo!

The titular song ‘Lion Heart’ talks of the man as a lion like beast that continues to beat the heart of the ladies and is supposedly said to be teasing them. The lyrics are cute and easy to follow to making for an addictive track to listen to.

‘Fire Alarm’ has a new age undertone. The lyrics speak of a dangerous love blossoming amidst people trying to stop it. This song and the other coming songs have an addictive underflow in the chorus. This song is worth listening to again.

‘Green Light’ has a techno, peppy beat to it. The song asks the man to go ahead without hesitation. This daring go-for-it song is the best song for summer. The song has a chorus that will most probably linger long after the song ends.

‘Paradise’ has a magical surreal feel to it as the members confess to the man as their paradise. The lyrics are sweet and sensitive in the way as they ask for the man to be by their side and show a sense of dependency in him.

The sixth track ‘Bump it’ is much like a girl’s anthem with its lively beats and its attention gaining chorus. The song speaks of the eternal sensation of being in the spotlight and seeing everything in bright colours as a result of being in love. The member vocals add dimension and colour to the song.

‘You Think’ is upbeat and fun with the girls delivering their vocals in full strength. The lyrics show off an air of confidence and chic. The lyrics challenges the man in a daring manner and the beat makes this amazing song to dance to. The music is that addictive.

‘Talk Talk’ brings down the tempo and turns down to a more rock ballad like melody. A sudden shift in musicality but it is a welcomed acceptance as this song elevates their harmonious voices as they sing together. This song is worth listening to.

‘Show Girls’ was already released in Japanese and this time its Korean alternative is added into the album. This song gives a Broadway feel to it with its ever changing melody which adds drama and flair to it. The song reverts back to the high energised tempo and gives for an amusing listen.

‘One Afternoon’ once again brings down the high tempo and in return twists to a cheery light music effect as the members sing about missing the man from a past relationship and gathering the courage to see him. The piano accompaniment is beautiful and elevates the musicality of the song.

And the album comes to a close with a bang in ‘Sign’. ‘Sign’ has amazing jazz techno beat to it with a saxophone in the midst of them all. The song has a great beat to dance and stand for Girls generation with its stand out beats and harmonization.

The Music video for "Lion Heart" pops with a burst of eye candy as the members deck themselves in retro glamour.

Putting aside the glaring mistake of misspelling ‘Girls’ in the MGM Logo, and with Mr.Lion Man himself in it, the girls enact a drama like scenario with three chapter separations. The three chapters show a progression of how the girls fall for the Lion man, their realization that they all fell for the same Lion man and ends with each girls taking her own sweet revenge on the Lion man. The music video is pure sweetness to see and is definitely worth watching thrice or possibly more, if that sudden leg spreading thingy didn't startle you the first time. Maybe they where trying to catch you off-guard or something or wanted to look sassy like, I dunno know......

After all the hype created for the album and the music videos, ‘You Think’ not only delivered but went all out. The music video for ‘You think’ contradicted in every way possible to ‘Lion Heart’. With synchronised dance moves (which they are known for) and bolder, edgy fashion statements, Gee Gee gave it all alright! but it felt underwhelming to me. I expected power packed performances and for Hyoyeon to SLAY! SLAY! SLAY!

But in all, I loved it! Wonder Girls and now GEE-GEE! Can anything get better?

Summer is coming to an end and what better way to sustain the heat intensity by having a bathroom scene?

Juniel teased me (and you too) all this while with teaser images and I finally get to see what she is doing!

GOD! LIKE SHE IS SO INNOCENT, I CAN NOT EVEN!

Juniel, with her ever so clear calm voice and her trusted guitar skills has dazzled the music sphere with her new digital single 'Sorry'. This song talks about the ending of what could have been a perfect relationship in the eyes of Juniel. But the man seems to feel otherwise and constantly apologises for it. Juniel relates to his sorry as being meaningless and often redundant. The song has an easy flow to it with a gripping chorus line.

The music video is peculiar for its not so ordinary approach to picturising the track. Juniel bathes with a forlorn look on her face as she uses the bubbles to wash away the bitter effect of the relationship. Butterflies and ladybugs stuck in the rain and fishes throbbing for air all show a sign of struggle which coincides with what Juniel is feeling. Her scenes with JongHoon are natural and easily elucidate how her relationship was before. Overall, this music video is complete and beautiful narrates it story to the audience.

My lips are red, monkey butt is red, your cheeks are red and all that is long gone, cause Hyuna just came back with 'A+'. It either means she has upgraded herself or she is just grading herself.

You chose bruh!

well anyways, Hyuna strikes back with her fourth mini album titled ‘A+’ which consists of five tracks namely- Run and Run, Because I am the best (Feat. Il hoon Of BTOB), Ding ice (Ice Ice) (Feat. Yuk Ji Dam), Get out of my house (Feat. Jung Yeol Of 10cm), and tranquillity.

‘Run and Run’ is the introductory track to the album. The track is short and sweet and gives a small snippet of what the album has in store. The song has a retro beat as it glides along with the vocal and the rap. The clapping beat and the “hey” sounds in the back drop add depth and dimension to the song. The song leaves you asking for more.

‘Because I am the best’ the song that was chosen to be made into a music video. ‘Because I am the best’ describes Hyuna as being the envy of her friends because of her level of success and recognition, and her reason to that is because she is the best and she is beautiful. Hyuna elucidates the concept of "too good for the likes of you" vibe which apparently suits the goddess. Hyuna is proud of herself and how far she has come and this song only builds on it.

In ‘Ice Ice’, Hyuna and Yuk Ji Dam go head to head and create and explosive addictive beat that would definitely make any head bob to its beat. The song is layered with beat that make it sinfully addictive and they lyrics only add on. This song has enough in it to feature as a music video.

‘Get out of my house’ has a haunting melody as the two singers harmonize in the intro of the song. The song then goes on with an over powering music which seems to swallow the vocals at certain points. But aside from that the song has a lot of perks to it; the range of vocals in this duo gives a soothing feel. The song is still easy to follow along with and can easily linger on long after it is gone.

The last song, titled ‘Tranquillity’, is true to its name. The song is slow and soothing with Hyun’s voice adding vibrant colours to it. Hyuna sings and raps and in all is a delight to listen to. The song is a great way to conclude the album.

The music video has a lot of bold and vibrant colours and is supposedly meant to be an upgrade of ‘Red’ which unfortunately didn’t seem so. The music video features Il Hoon who makes an appearance right after the first chorus and stays on till the end. Hyuna does multiple suggestive gestures in the music video- having a bunch of face covered women held by dog chains and holding a whip, to name a few, which seems to contradict with her riding skateboards and posing cutely with Il Hoon. In the midst of portraying Hyuna as strong, independent and fierce the concept might have gone out of hand. Which to me is a major let down, Chingu! I came looking for some hight intense kick you bum like dance moves but ended up seeing her twerk. uh-um!

what do you think? let me know in the comments below.

…………ah! Nothing says summer like sweat and ghost stories! Which is what the music video of ‘You’re beautiful’ is all about, right? NO! You are wrong! It is the story of bromance! a coming-of-age story of three men who think it is time a girl got in their way.

Don’t believe me? Well fine, chingu! We will see what you have to say when this is all over!

The music video begins with the three men playing around with the ouchie board. Oh sorry, Ouija board.

For those of you who are interested, this is what the Ouija board looks like. There are even printables available online.

Obviously our trio doesn’t know that! I mean

I can't even see anything on that board?
can you?
If you ask me this is not the age for you guys to be dwelling in “ghost whispering”-ing if that is a word. But they do it anyway and a ghost comes to them in their first attempt.

One of the boys asks the ghost if it is a female and the character of Yoo Seung Woo suddenly gives the feeling of hurt.

Why? Well I don’t know. Moving on!

The scene cuts because that was just too much of drama yo! So we mellow it down with some happy scenes, yey!

Just to show how rich and sophisticated and fully equipped with technology the trio of men are, they show you a glimpse of their latest gizmos!

Deabak!

The trio possibly stressed by last night’s meeting with the dead go on a trip to calm down their nerves. They take some musical instruments, cameras and check some booty along the way!

Hey! Yeah! Work it!

They walk some more and see some sites and as they walk one of them comments that they move so in sync that they can pass off as an idol group rather than the indie band they are trying to be.

And they all laugh! Ahahhaha!

When men are involved can the booze be far? they drink and enjoy themselves but all the while as they play, one of the guys makes sure he is sober enough to drive the others home.

To commemorate this joyous occasion of opening up to one another and getting wasted, they take a photo that would make anyone jealous of the fun they are having together. And it is here that our main lady comes into the picture.

Genuinely curious about the three men, she thinks of ways to come between their friendships

She thinks how to go about it as she looks at photos she took while stalking them.

Unaware of what is coming their way, the guys make their way from Nungnae station and sit down to pen a song on how they day is beautiful!

They sing the song in a shack they bought. Woah-ho! Who is this?

A little reminder of the bootylicious from before eh? You naughty…….

After fulfilling their purpose of this trip (which was to pen down an original song for their audition), the trio hitch a ride on a ride that puts all those expensive rides to shame!

WOW! HOW DOES IT SHINE LIKE THAT?
and along the way they film a beverage commercial as well!

Is there ever a thing called too much in sync?
Anyway, they come home and get treated by the girl that stalked them. But they don't care, cause they don't need a yeoja in their life!

SEE! SEE!  That is the problem! they don't notice the girl! The trio finally realize that they might have just missed the most important part of their youth!
so as to rekindle their interest in women, they see a nice adult movie!

oooooooooooohh! ohlala!

the guys look more scared than excited, if you ask me!
Seeing that this is possibly not going to work, our main man- Yoon Seung Woo tries to sidetrack the girl by showing her his manly toys! but she is too enamoured by her glass jars!

the yeoja got toys of her own- FIREWORKS!
I mean what is more enjoyable than fireworks eh?

Unfortunately the plan back fires and its back to the kitchen slab for this yeoja. Yoo Seung Woo confronts her again and this time warns her with the message!

''You lay on finger on my friends and I will be coming for you, Yeoja!'

But the girl is still fascinated by them jars

and then walks away and that is when i saw.....

what! Hunt? are those can filled with meat that girl hunted? w-what. I- I am scared.

Well if can't beat them, join' em, and that is exactly what Yoo Seung Woo did. playing in key with the Yeoja, he tries to channelize his inner coolness, hashtag swag baby!

But this yeoja pulls a 'Vogue' move on him! hashtag VogueDoll

Clearly irritated by the fact that he can't beat this yeoja, he decides to call it quit and leave the house by sunrise. As Yoo Seung Woo begins packing his belongings, he comes across the photos they took during the trip.

Hold on! that doesn't seem right!
He is not in that photo.

there were supposed to be three of you!

HEY HE IS MISSING IN THIS TOO!

                                   OMO! OMO OMO!!
Then that makes him-

NO! But all this while you were there bruh! I swear!

MAN YOU WERE THERE WHEN THEY JUMPED
WHERE'D YOU GO NOW?

YOU WERE HERE MAN, I REMEBER!

MAN YOU THE ONE THAT WROTE THIS SONG HERE!
WHAT?

YOU PASSED BY THE BOOTY TOGTHER!
I SAW YOU WITH THEM.

YOU WERE EVERYWHERE MAN, BUT WHY
CAN'T I SEE YOU NOW?

COULD IT REALLY BE THAT YOU ARE A

GHOST!

If you were not there when they did the ouchie board then that means I.. I

I am spooked more than anyone with this turn of events. But there is one among us who is undeterred.

they just don't make chairs like they used to eh?
the video finally tells us why she has such a hype for them jars.

But how? I mean he was- no one saw him, how did she? did he know him when he was alive? answer me, Yeoja!

clearly she isn't going to give us the answer, so the music video ends in a cliffhanging situation and nothing says 'Cliffhangin' more than a cat on a wall~

hahahhah thats fun!. it didn't make sense but it was fun! what do you think? let us know in the comments below!
I actually love this music video and the song!
