Ever Since I
came across Yoon MiRae, I have always hailed her for being the Queen that she
is and have often wanted her to be my spirit animal. But her awesomeness knows
no bound and cannot be contained so easily.
Enough of that, SM’s STATION
recently got Yoon MiRae to hop on to their bandwagon to sign a song titled “Because
of You”. The song is simply mind blowing in terms of the lyrics and the way the
song has been arranged. Yoon MiRae’s voice is accompanied by an orchestra from
Village Studio in Los Angeles. The song is beautiful and dramatic but there are
certain parts in the song where Yoon MiRae’s voice unfortunately gets submerged
in the overpowering melody of the orchestra but nonetheless, it doesn’t take
away the strong presence she has in the song. A must listen to for the lyrics
are penned beautiful and is a dream is listen to.
The music video shows Yoon
MiRae entering the studio and on the other side of the world in Los Angeles,
Matthew Tishler enters Village Studio to add his piano accompaniment to the
Orchestra. The two communicated through webcam and the recording begins. The bts
shots of how music from around the globe is brought together for one song, fills
you up with a sort of energy and hope. Truly a beautiful track!
