Eddy Kim is back baby! Eddy
Kim is one male singer who is known for his soft penetrative and meditative
like voice and he is claiming the year of 2016 by dropping a cool vibe party
song titled 'Paldangdam' which feature Beenzino
This is how
the titled of the song was explained by 1thek:
“From the unusual title 'Paldangdam' to the witty lyrics,
which illustrates Eddy Kim as a 'dam' under the idea to manage flows and girls
as 'water' who fell into him, listeners can feel the wit and sense of Eddy Kim.”
The song is
witty and quirky; the right blend and mix to lift up any one’s mood. 'Paldangdam'
has a really funky rhythm which is not the route Eddy Kim usually takes and so
seeing him tackle a popping party song is refreshing and new to see and listen
to. Beenzino’s subtle raps added into the song give it more feel and depth.
This is one song that gives no hoots to deep rooted meaning and instead just
wants to get you on your feet swaying to its tunes.
The music video shows the boyish
subtle charms of Eddy Kim. The video starts off with Kim getting a lot of texts
from women calling and inviting him over…. Haaaaaaaaaaa, le life of a famous
person eh? But no worries, since our Kimmy boy doesn’t like the excessive
attention he gets and would rather spend time with himself and his male
friends. Though his song speaks of women, there is only one actual woman in the
entire music video and she is portrayed to be a doll. The so called “Paldangdam”
is portrayed by dozens and dozens of dolls falling into a pool Eddy Kim in swimming
in and then he sing “I am the Manager under the dam tonight”. Cute to watch and
really really witty.
