Monday has never been so busy in my life time as today with more than five artists dropping their album on the night of the 27th of March. More music obviously means more reviews so yey for you!

I am starting the week with one of favourite group’s release- Block B’s “A few years later” which is a pop ballad blended melody that sings about a relationship that has gone sour. Penned down by Zico and Park Kyung and also composed by Zico, the song is touching and very very sad.

The song speaks about how the break up has resulted in the man losing himself. The song reminisces about how the two individuals could have grown to who they are now if they hadn’t broken up, as sad as it may sound, the members of Block B croon that although the woman has walked away, they are unable to neither bury the past nor forget about it. With about seven members in the group, what surprises me is how effortless all the members get a good chunk of lyrics which they sing/rap. I can never look at them and say this member or that member didn’t get any lines.

The music video is beautifully picturised and shows the scenes of the past and present so distinctly yet so subtly, that you would want to watch it over and over again. The transition of the past to the present is shown by snow which symbolises their frozen present state, unable to move on from a relationship they had such high hopes for......

Not to mention this hamster looks so cute walking down this alleyway, I just couldn’t.

Once again each member makes a good set of appearance in the song that is considerable close to only four minutes but manages to pack quite a lot in it. The lyrics added with the images really bring tears to your eye as you see them, especially at the end.

A beautiful song that is bound to be a favourite to anyone who listens to it!
