Went you hear that such an such is a legend in the music industry or in a Veteran in the field, my heart goes out to them and I salute them for their persistent effort to create new music and get newer and younger generation folks to fall in love with their music. I just want to stand up and give them a standing ovation.

I don't know exactly what it is, but singers who have spent decades in the music industry have a set charisma in them that pulls you when you listen to their music. The is what Lee Moon Sae's voice delivers.

The singer had recently released a winter album titled NEW DIRECTION 15 ‘Winter Special’ on December 15th. This album has two beautiful but contradictory tracks which are 'This Christmas', the romantically moving emotional carol song sung along with Roy Kim and Hanhae, a member of Phantom. The second track is the piano version of 'Farewell My Love', which was already a part of the New Direction 15 album that was release in last spring.

‘This Christmas’ has the magical nostalgic feel of coming home to one’s loved ones. The song is simple and compares loving someone with the same anticipation and excitement one gets on Christmas day. The song is so freaking happy and when the chorus of Woo-Woos comes around, I got up and sang with it. An absolute favourite of mine! you have got to got to got to listen to it. I wouldn't be surprised it the song get addicting and you end up singing Woo-woo in random places.

The music video is a simple lyric video with beautiful visuals of traveling around city during a holiday and witnessing some of the most breath-taking street decorations, laid out as the backdrop. Thought it was simple, you get the feeling you are actually in Korea.

‘Farewell My Love’ is a song about the sadness over the thought that one cannot be with their loved ones after letting them go. The song is earnest and tugs at the heart. The lyrics are straightforward and humble, and with Lee Moon Sae’s voice, it gives the song a silk like feel when listening to it.

The song embodies heartbreaks but also hopes to mend its way back. Lee Moon Sae released a studio live version of this track where he sings the song with utmost emotion and pain,

I love both these song. What do you think? let me know in the comments section below.
