The seasons are changing and so is the general trend in terms of fashion, so let’s take a look and what is trending this season.

      The chilly climate calls for extra layers of clothing. Layering is getting popular this time around as people are seen wearing multiple layers of clothes and topping it off with a cardigan or a simple jacket. A white or a subdued toned undershirt with an earthly toned jacket or cardigan is the general norm of the trend.

      There is however a catch to the layering style. The length of the shirt or the jacket does not exceed the knees. Shirts or tops are often tucked in at the front to accentuate the lower body. In other words to give the effect of having longer legs, the tops are often short or tucked in and the jacket are of a short length. Accentuating the long legs is a key feature in this season’s trend.

      In keeping with the toned long legs, skinny jeans and black leggings are the highlights in the bottoms sections. Short skirts and shorts are rare but when worn are usually in the shades of black. Black stockings are also seen worn in this season.

      Beanies seem to be climbing to the top spot in the hats sections as they best describe the fun and celebrations of the upcoming festivities. Beanies in white and off-white are more in the trend now.

      In terms of colours, aside from white, black and navy, shades of purple and burgundy seems to be getting into the scene along with light hues of yellow and maroon. Of these, hues of burgundy in sweaters are getting the claims in the fashion trend.

      Backpacks are a strict no in this season as messenger bags, totes, envelope and clutch purses are more accepted. Bags with chain accessories are taking the back rows here as dark felt material replaces the bag materials in this season.

      In the shoe department, there seems to be tie between flats and heels as leather loafer, Timberland boots and Wedges all seems to be on top. The shoes are also in dark shades as often blends with the outfit rather than standing out.

There is no point in dressing for the season, if your makeup is not up to point. In this season, bold lip colour statements are in. Colours like burgundy and purple lips which draw attention to the lips and gives a washed out paler complexion is what is trending in the season currently.
