Hullo! Hullo! Long-time no see my friends of the web! How are you and how is life? I took a break from this for a while and I am still trying to get back to my schedule and what better time to make a comeback then with my love from the very Earth I am born in- JongHyun from SHINEE!!

      The man with the god like voice (in my opinion), JongHyun recently released his first full length album titled “She is”. Now this album has been long anticipated by fans ever since they revealed that JongHyun was working on an album, if you are someone who knows about his previous works, then you know why it is hyped. The man’s voice is pure mana! Anyway, the album has a total of nine tracks in it, which are;

01. 좋아 (She Is)
02. White T-Shirt
03. 우주가 있어 (Orbit)
04. Moon
05. AURORA
06. Dress Up
07. Cocktail
08. RED
09. Suit Up

First up we have the title song “She is” which is a song about well, “She” and how her eyes, her movements and how she behaves entices JongHyun, he really seems to enjoy being in love with her. The song is a typical love but has the peppiest beats added to it so much so that it is bound to make you pop out your shoulders to its beat. On a side note, netizens seems to really enjoy mishearing the lyrics. hahahah. Anyways, the chorus of this song is really addicting and his effortless high notes in her really bring the package together!

The music video shows JongHyun as an owner of what looks like a kiosks and you know when it JongHyun is open for business, its going to be a great day for all of us.

According to what he has been telling us about the music video, it is about a man and his everyday mundane activity. hmmm... there is definitely something more to this, because when his Kiosks is getting bulldozed, JongHyun dances with the other girls.

But I am not complaining! Nope I enjoy this dance and a bit of stomach! lel!
But what I am really confused about it is this scene that comes towards the end, it shows that it this is something that happens everytime.

I really like the song and the music video minus the dull/ saturated colouring is actually pretty good!

Up next we have "White T-shirt" which is swaying melody about JongHyun falling in love with this mesmerizing woman who looks ever so alluring to him in her simplistic white t-shirt. I love how the melody drops in the chorus and how JongHyun swirls the words he sings. A powerful song and I love that the melody is something you don't really associate with JongHyun's vibes, but it works well in this track!

"Orbit" is another scintillating number and sings about the woman as being as mysterious and overwhelming as the universe, and JongHyun a mere planet/ I think a moon, possibly/ going about his orbit, revolving around her. The song is slow and the musical accompaniment is really funky. I have to be honest with you, this song doesn't have anything running for it, in other words, I do not find it as addictive as the other tracks, but that is because of its offbeat melody.

"Moon" is a song that throws timidness to the wind, JongHyun straight out sings that he gets dirty thoughts when he is looking at the girl and assures her that he will do all he can to make sure she will fall in love with him. I love how JongHyun promises to take the girl to the moon and asks her to be open with her fantasies and dreams. Cute and not to mention, his high notes are so gooood.

"Aurora" is another love song which is not a surprise because I am starting to like them, but I am starting to feel that he draws a tad too much imagery from the moon as this the second or third song to use that comparison. The song is slow but manages to get your intrigued into his melody and his lyrics. A simple clean love song.

Finally things are getting heated up in here as the track "Dress up" drops, the beats are sleek and so dance worthy! The song if you listened to it, asks the girl what she is planning on wearing for the night out with JongHyun. I really like the song and I recommend to listen to it, for the beats and the melody.

I found my favourite song in this album! it is "Cocktail", the song starts of with a moving disney like melody but then builds up on the tempo and then adds various rhythm to it. In this song, JongHyun sings about the girl being is favourite cocktail and wants to engulf himself in it. The chorus is a must listen to.

"Red" is a song that asks the lady to come with him and escape the world, kiss him when the lights turn red. I feel that the music has now come down the path JongHyun usually takes. The song has some really nice beats and the song is simple yet makes sure to give off the charm JongHyun is known for. Plus, he asks you to kiss him, what more can you ask for?

And finally we have "Suit up" which is such a sensual song. JongHyun takes it up a notch with his lyrics and the song is slower in pace and the music for once takes a back seat as JongHyun's voice straight up serenades every listener's ears. This song has a beautiful piano accompaniment which really adds to the delicacy of this song.

Overall, I think this album "She is" has a few hits and a few misses but in all, it is such a pretty album that packs it all in to one package.
