This is our first entry in the My Lounge segment! Hoot-hoot!
Since
it’s our first, we have decided to start with some basic, at-home, DIY kind of
beauty treatment that is simple and easy on the budget. We (or I) introduce to
you the ‘Oil Cleansing Method’
This is
seriously the most relaxing and probably the best thing you can give your skin!
Religiously following this method is said to even out your skin tone and make
you two tones fairer! Now, who doesn’t want that, eh? It works on all skin
types, so no worries; it’s a good thing, right? So let’s get down to the things
you need:
- Olive oil
- Castor oil
- Almond oil
- A moist hot towel
Make sure that the labels on the
oil bottles states that you can use them on your face. You can use either two
of the oils listed above, I use all three. You will need to mix or blend the
oils first in equal ratios and then apply them all over your face. Then proceed
to do some facial massage. This chart should help you
:
Or else why don't you try this, Chingu? this is my personal favourite of mine
Once the massaging is done, take face towel or any towel and gentle damp it with water, squeeze of the excess. Heat the towel over a pan (it only take less than a minute for it to come to the heat I am comfortable with) once you feel that the towel is hot enough (that is, enough for your face to bear with it scalding) gently place it over your face and leave it there till the towel cools down to room temperature. Afterwards use a mild soap to wash your face.

Try doing this every day and I guarantee you that you will see a difference in
your skin tone. It worked for me so let us know if it did for you or do you
have any at-home skin care routine that you would like to share? Do so in the
comments below or write to us at SpotmyKorea@gmail.com
