The babies of WINNER came and conquered like it was meant to be. The boys showed off skill and style that is bound to make even the strongest woman faint in their charms. Its like they were silent for so long that INNER CIRCLES boycotted the so called milking technique YG was doing with Winner. But then WINNER takes a 360 and delivers a plate of fabulous in the face of INNER CIRCLES making them fall in love with these boys all over again...
Now enough of blowing the trumpets, lets get down to the album- Exit Movement E. I wonder why "E" I sure hope that they don't name the next albums "X" "I" and "T". or will they?
The album Exit Movement E has a total of five tracks, which you can see below
*Uh-hum* My beau (?) Nam TaeHyun seems to have his name in most of the songs but so does Mino and Seung Hoon. Korean Idols groups who pen down, compose and produce their own tracks seem to be the "IN" thing this season..
The first track "Baby Baby" has such a bluesy tones and swagger to it, that I just had to bring my squad to the floor and belt some awesome synchronized dance moves. Check em out!
The song pretty much has a prayer like chorus that is quiet easy to memorize and sing perfectly... "Baby ...bay....bey!" ooohh-uuuuhhh... I love this song. It is perfect for them not so active days, for those drowsy afternoon and long drives in the nights..
The music video is shows different shades of loneliness... each member tries different ways to ward it off, but it just doesn't work. Kudos to the squad of WINNER for shedding the pure boy innocent image and walking down the road of a realistic twenty-something guy's life. I don't however think INNER CIRCLE was ready for it though. Great effort and I absolutely love it.
The second song is "Sentimental" which is much like a happy-go-lucky feel good song. The song is bright and cheery and begs for you to get up and dance... just a wiggle here and there. The drum beats and the funky like beats which rise and fall as they want makes for a fun listen.
The music video is a must watch for the way it is filmed. I have nothing more to add to that. On a side note, all three music video are a must watch, each have their own flavour and distinct style and seems to stem off from one another.
The third track in the album is "Immature" which is kinda "meh!"
Compared to the other tracks, yes it was a bit underwhelming. The song sounds like it is catering to the typical boy group of the west in terms of its musicality.
The fourth and fifth song are my all time favourite! An easy kill in the charts if you ask me. The fourth track is "I'm Young" which is Nam TaeHyun's solo song.. my feels.
The song tries to patch up a relationship gone sour. Nam TaeHyun's heartbreak-like-voice delivers the essence of the song oh so beautifully that I just had to drop everything and listen to it.... ten times.
The music video DESERVES AN AWARD YO! The acting is phenomenal, the way it was shot phenomenal, the french lady phenomenal, her french even more phenomenal!.
The music video has such an intense climax that is better viewed then spoken about. You should see it!
"Pricked" was the last track in the album. The song was already pre-released and got quiet a few raves from the audience. The song obviously speaks about love and pangs and pains of it...
In all, the album "Exit Movement:E" is an all-kill!
What do you think?
