(Here is a picture of Taeman kissing Taeminnie! hahahahahhaha somewhere along the line I hope Taemin looks back at this and blushes..... cause this is one is mildly uncomfortable to see and I blushed like a tomato seeing this)
ADMIN VIRGIL
Me laddie
Taemin has dropped the performance video for his track “Drip Drop” and I couldn’t
help but rave about it.
This performance
video comes a day early then his official first “Regular” album release. “Press
it” is Taemin full length official solo album which has a whopping number of
ten songs in it. “Drip Drop” is one of the songs featured in the album. The title
track is actually “Press Your Number”, which is said to be produced by the most
world renowned producer Bruno Mars and team Stereotypes. The song is an urban
pop dance track, which is right up Taeman’s alley… the album is set to drop on
the 23rd of February, which is tomorrow …. Feels like waiting for Christmas…
The song “Drip Drop” is suave song about
expressing the feelings of the heart and asking, awaiting and pleading for his
loved one to come to him…
The song has a
good mix of musical elements from hard core dance rhythms to retro beats to
simple jazzy blues, the song basically caters to a multiple genre. Taemin’s
voice is smooth and every time he says “Baby”, it gets you…
The performance
video is pure eye-candy. Time and again SM tries and succeeds in portraying
that Taemin is a man and that his fans should embrace him for who is has become
now. Taemin is fierce but subtle, strong and forceful but fluid in his
movements, it is like watching poetry in action!
You will see what I mean here...
See at the fierce look he gives in this gif... it is so pretty!
Choreography is something SM prides itself in and thought I know this, I still get surprised and mind-blown with each and every video they put out. In this video, I love the synchronized movements.. the back ground dancers are out and beyond in their style and it all blends perfectly.. just perfectly..
Taemin then gets a small window towards the end of the music video where the boy struts his skills in a solo dance piece. Being true to his style, he is fast, powerful and very sexy with his movements.. I noticed he did a little tribute to lay in this dance piece, see for yourself x)
The scenic
depiction of barren lands is synonymous to what Taemin is feeling in this song
- barren and deserted without his lover. The backdrop works wonders with his
costume which mimics the late 80s- early 90s time (Loving the suspenders!)
If you like, you can check out some of the more teaser images they have put up for Taemin's Album here.. which is Taemin's official website for now. I think there is a story of alter ego going on here.. Kinda like Taeyeon's "I", if you get what I am saying..
I feel SM is venturing into new spheres here by putting
it’s artists out in the open instead of old abandoned warehouses and car parks and
quite frankly I really like seeing them out in the wild and I appreciate where
it is headed..
Seeing this I have been inspired to restart my passion for Pantomime...
