ADMIN VIRGIL
Over a year since his last
single “A Song For You,” solo artist Roh Ji Hoon made his presence felt in the
music industry with his second mini-album ‘Feeling’ which features the title
song “If You Were Me.”, “Remember”, “Sweet Girl”,”September7th” and “A Song For
You (ft. Mightyl Mouth’s Shorry J)” The singer has written and co-composed four
tracks in this album.
Roh Ji Hoon begins his album
with a sweet serenading song ‘Remember’. This song picks up the best of moods
and is upbeat. The song is made of feel good melodies. A great song to start
the album with. Roh Ji Hoon’s voice is gentle and gets strong every high note.
The chorus is building and powering.
‘If You Were Me’ is the
title song and is another sweet confession song. This song has an empowering
chorus which lifts the song to great altitudes. Roh Ji Hoon’s voice is at its
best in this song. The song has a moving love story as its music video. The
music video shows the blossoming of love between two individuals who seems to
be the strength of one another. The music video hits of all the good notes and
is a must watch.
Much like the title, Roh Ji
Hoon dons the sweet crooning voice in ‘Sweet Girl’. The song is accompanied by
a simple acoustic beat which best accentuates his voice. This is a simple song
and has an easy chorus that will stick with you for a long time.
Things get tense with
‘September 7th’, this song has a serious undertone but an overpowering chorus.
Roh Ji Hoon’s voice melts and subdues with the melodies and his continues love
confession reach higher notes every time he sings in this song. this song
creates a lot of drama with its melody and is a must listen to in this album.
Roh Ji Hoon ends his song by
revisiting ‘A Song For You’ but this time the beats are a bit faster than his
previous singles version and incorporate rock elements in them. The song is
featured in this song but in a different version which makes the song feel and
sound different as well. A power packed song is a great way to end the mini
album.
